Heather Hoffman
President

I started my career in construction at CDI, helping my dad grow the family business. In 2011, I took a detour, and spent 8 years as a PM for a general contractor. I learned so many things to bring back to CDI. I feel very fortunate that I have the opportunity to lead the team into the next generation. In my free time I like to travel, study Spanish, read, and relax with my dogs.

Jenna Featherstone
Office Manager - Accounting

I joined the company in 2016 and have taken on a wide range of responsibilities over the years. I enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. When I’m not at work you’ll find me in the garden or taking on my next DIY project.

Danny Jones - AKA Frog
Carpenter Foreman

I’ve worked with CDI since 2000. My nickname is Frog. I live in Braham, and don’t mind the drive, country life is for me. I like to ride motorcycle, hunt, fish or camp. I’m working on building a cabin for me and my family.

Joey Johnson

I have worked at CDI since 2017. Since that time I’ve had the opportunity to work on both large and small projects. I live in North Branch, MN. I like to go on adventures, hunt, fish, do projects at home, spend some quality time with family. Our long term goal is to buy a decent chunk of property, build a home and establish a nice homestead.

I have over 14 years experience at CDI. I’m from Amery, WI. Most people don’t know that I live on a hobby farm. I love my kids and spend time with my family on the weekends. I have a lot of experience on large or long term projects.

Jared LeZalla - AKA Red
Carpenter Foreman

Born and raised here in the cities currently live in Ham Lake. I have 19 years of experience in the trade, over 5 of them at CDI. Lover of wildlife. Long quiet walks on the beach!

Alonso Paredes
Taper Foreman

I have been a taper for 25 years. I have been a Union member since 2008 and joined CDI in 2018. I live in Blaine and I like to watch movies and go off roading in my Jeep, especially in Moab, Utah

Craig Moeller
Senior Project Manager.

Craig is from Duluth MN but spent much of his life living all over the US. After serving in the US Army National Guard, deploying to Iraq, he got his degree in Public Health Education & Promotion from the U of MN Duluth. He started his career in the construction industry building luxury homes in Big Sky, MT. He then remodeled homes in Portland, OR, and served as superintendent for a custom home builder in Park City, UT. He then moved to the Twin Cities where he framed apt. complexes before joining the Commercial Drywall team. Craig enjoys lifting weights, playing video games, and attending sporting events .

Mike Cleveland

I’ve been in the steel framing and drywall industry for over a decade, and I started with CDI in 2020. I enjoy the outdoors, golfing, being on the water, fishing and taking my dog Asher on long hikes.

Kevin Jensen

I’ve been a union carpenter for over 14 years, and I started with CDI in 2020. Prior to CDI I spent six years traveling nationwide, delivering high-end retail builds under demanding timelines. I’m known for my reliability and craftmanship and I take pride in producing quality work. I value being part of a professional, collaborative team at CDI. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and relaxing at home.

Wesley Schindler
Carpenter Foreman

I’ve been in construction my whole life. From painting with my father, to residential sheetrocking. I started with Commercial in 2004! I’ve enjoyed my time here throughout the years. The great people I’ve met along the way have been invaluable.

My daughter recently got married to a wonderful young man, and I couldn’t be prouder. My girlfriend, Deb, and I enjoy riding our Harleys and are looking forward to a big trip this fall.

As a teenager in Hawaii, I learned to surf and skateboard. I’m a certified scuba diver. You can often find me playing softball, hockey, or golf, or relaxing with one of my guitars.

Katie Basara
Project Manager/Estimator

Raised in a construction family, I started my career by mastering my broom-pushing skills and learning that every role matters! Those lessons shaped my servant-leadership approach.

I love puzzles, one reason construction feels like a natural fit—every project is like its own puzzle with new challenges, bringing together people, ideas, and solutions to create something lasting.

As a retired Scout leader, I'm known for helping people shift their perspective from "have to" to "get to." One of my favorite phrases is "I might be wrong." I believe the best ideas come from staying curious and being willing to change your mind.

Jesus Viscarra
Project Manager/Estimator

I have been in the steel stud drywall industry for 10 years, starting in the field and now working in estimating and project management. I live in Coon Rapids with my wife and twin daughters. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me at the hockey rink coaching and playing, on the golf course, or staying busy with family and friends.

Founder

Our Founder, Mentor & Friend. Died on March 27th, 2020. He remains much loved and admired, and will always be missed. We continue the legacy of CDI, always with his values and memory in mind.

Luis Jiménez
Plasterer Foreman

I started with CDI in 2021 and I’ve been a plasterer for over 20 years. I’m bilingual and energetic. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and road trips with my family in the fall.

Brad Gilbert
Carpenter Foreman

I started with CDI in 2021 and I’m a Marine Corps Veteran. I like deer hunting and traveling. I travel to a new place every year around Easter. I can’t pick a favorite, but the best part of traveling is definitely the food!
